Off-The-Plan Concessions – the changes that you need to know…
As of August 31, 2023, there have been some changes to how you claim your Off-The-Plan concession for pre-construction contracts. If your settlement takes place after the 31st of August 2023 your settlement agent will be able to claim your concession prior to settlement instead of you claiming direct with State Revenue after settlement.
This concession is aimed at the purchase of new residential units and apartment buildings in multi-tiered schemes that haven’t yet begun construction and are eligible for contracts signed between 23 October 2019 and 30 June 2025.
